De vuelta a Guantanamo Despues de un largo y agotador viaje de 8 horas desde #Uruguay a la Habana llego cansado a la capital. Alli pernocto por una noche y en la madrugada tomo un omnibus para turistas hacia Guantanamo. Estoy cansado. La lluvia copiosa no me deja ver a travez de la ventanilla el paisaje soñado. Hace 18 años que se me prohibia viajar a la isla, por fin lo he logrado. En Guantanamo me esperan los familiares. Besos y lagrimas y la antigua casa que me parece mas chica de cuando la deje. Mi madre me enumera los muertos de la familia, del barrio y de quienes han emigrado a Miami o a la Habana. No queda nadie de los antiguos conocidos, solo Fara la presidenta del comite de cuadra y Sergio el cincuenton mecanico que vive colindante a nuestra casa. Ya no puedo decir "mi casa" Es de los que se quedaron. Por las tardes los jovenes se agolpan en los corredores sin tener nada que hacer, solo observar a los que pasan y mirar que marca de zapatos usan. Es una generacion perdida que solo piensa en emmigrar a Miami y en la ropa moderna. No conozco a nadie. Deambulo por la calle como un hombre sin patria. Ya no pertenezco a aquel lugar. El exilio me ha atrapado en sus costumbres y me siento ajeno a estas viejas circunstancias. Quien dice que le violencia no ha calado en la indiosincracia cubana. Una mañana me entero que han matado a el viejo Sergio, el mecanico, de una puñalada traicionera. La policia investiga y el barrio esta conmovido. Fara, la del Comite, esta metida en todo, colabora con las investigaciones. Quien mejor que ella para aportar algun indicio que aclare el crimen. Yo sigo caminando por las calles donde transcurrio mi niñez y adolescencia. Todo me es ageno y no siento el estremecimiento que sentia en mis sueños alla en el exilio cuando soñaba con Guantanamo. Ya no es mio. Es otra ciudad y otro mundo. Era como si todos hubieran muerto, como Sergio, y solo quedara una partida de jovenes desconocidos que lo ocupan todo. Vuelvo a Uruguay con el corazon vacio. Despues de 18 años no queda nada de mi antiguo barrio en Guantanamo, solo algunas antiguas casas casi derruidas por el tiempo. Uruguay es mi casa. Retour à Guantanamo      Après un long et fatigant voyage de 8 heures de #Uruguay à La Havane, je suis fatigué de la capitale. Nous avons passé la nuit là-bas pour une nuit et le matin, prendre un bus pour les touristes à Guantanamo. Je suis fatigué. La forte pluie ne me laisse pas voir à travers la fenêtre le paysage de rêve. 18 qui m'a interdit de se rendre à l'île, je l'ai enfin il y a réussi.      A Guantanamo, ils attendent familier. Bisous et les larmes et la vieille maison qui semble plus jeune fille au moment de quitter. Ma mère me énumère les morts de la famille, le quartier et qui ont migré vers Miami ou La Havane. Je n'appartiens à cet endroit. Exile m'a pris dans leurs habitudes et je me sens étranger à ces vieilles circonstances.          Qui a dit que la violence n'a pas imprégné le indiosincracia cubain. Estamos en el Otoño Uruguayo pero parece que es el Invierno que se adelantó. Fueron cinco días de lluvia constante. Las sabanas húmedas y la ropa que no se seca en la tendedera. Las calles vacías. Los restaurantes vacíos. Ya se había ido la ola de turistas argentinos y brasileños que venían a veranear en los hoteles o en sus imponentes mansiones de techo a dos aguas. Luego de estar Punta del Este libre de esa plaga veraniega es un verdadero placer caminar por sus ramblas de mar. Hay dos playas a cada lado de la península: la de la Mansa, con sus quietas aguas y la de la Brava con su mar embravecido. La de la Mansa es para la gente mayor, es más apacible. En la de la Brava aún quedan surfistas rezagados que desafían las gélidas aguas con sus trajes impermeables. Yo prefiero el fulgor de las rompientes olas al atardecer, me hacen sentir más joven. Guarecido de la interperie con un grueso abrigo, bufanda y guantes me paseo por la Brava cerca de los imponentes edificios. El que están construyendo es el de Donald Trump, un rascacielos redondeado y llamativo como todo lo que él hace. ¿Quién iba a decir que un Guantanamero se iba a sentir como un Puntaesteño más? Es lo que siento después de tantos años. Mi querida Patria chica es solo un añorado recuerdo que se sume en las brumas al igual que este anochecer, y los yates de lujo del puerto, con las luces apagadas, esperan zarpar al norte, donde todavía es verano. De vuelta a Guantanamo Despues de un largo y agotador viaje de 8 horas desde #Uruguay a la Habana llego cansado a la capital. Alli pernocto por una noche y en la madrugada tomo un omnibus para turistas hacia Guantanamo. Estoy cansado. La lluvia copiosa no me deja ver a traves de la ventanilla el paisaje soñado. Hace 18 años que se me prohibia viajar a la isla, por fin lo he logrado. En Guantanamo me esperan los familiares. Besos y lagrimas y la antigua casa que me parece mas chica de cuando la deje. Mi madre me enumera los muertos de la familia, del barrio y de quienes han emigrado a Miami o a la Habana. No queda nadie de los antiguos conocidos, solo Fara la presidenta del comite de cuadra y Sergio el cincuenton mecanico que vive colindante a nuestra casa. Ya no puedo decir "mi casa" Es de los que se quedaron. Por las tardes los jovenes se agolpan en los corredores sin tener nada que hacer, solo observar a los que pasan y mirar que marca de zapatos usan. Es una generacion perdida que solo piensa en emmigrar a Miami y en la ropa moderna. No conozco a nadie. Deambulo por la calle como un hombre sin patria. Ya no pertenezco a aquel lugar. El exilio me ha atrapado en sus costumbres y me siento ajeno a estas viejas circunstancias. Quien dice que le violencia no ha calado en la indiosincracia cubana. Una mañana me entero que han matado a el viejo Sergio, el mecanico, de una puñalada traicionera. La policia investiga y el barrio esta conmovido. Fara, la del Comite, esta metida en todo, colabora con las investigaciones. Quien mejor que ella para aportar algun indicio que aclare el crimen. Yo sigo caminando por las calles donde transcurrio mi niñez y adolescencia. Todo me es ageno y no siento el estremecimiento que sentia en mis sueños alla en el exilio cuando soñaba con Guantanamo. Ya no es mio. Es otra ciudad y otro mundo. Era como si todos hubieran muerto, como Sergio, y solo quedara una partida de jovenes desconocidos que lo ocupan todo. Vuelvo a Uruguay con el corazon vacio. Despues de 18 años no queda nada de mi antiguo barrio en Guantanamo, solo algunas antiguas casas casi derruidas por el tiempo. Uruguay es mi casa. See him with my own eyes. __ Mrs. It is not allowed to enter the room where it is. It's restricted area.
